Graduation Deadlines

Deadline by which thesis students must secure a primary thesis reader and submit an approved thesis proposal.

Spring Quarter 2027 (for June Graduation) 

March 27 - Complete & submit Application for a Degree electronically on my.uchicago.edu

April 9 - Latest day for first thesis submission to MAPSS Instructional Professor and primary reader

April 23 - Final day to withdraw from graduation list without $65 penalty fee

April 30 - Latest day to submit final thesis or capstone to primary reader and/or IP

May 14 – Thesis evaluations from primary reader and preceptor due to Student Affairs Administrator, Dom Williams, williamsd@uchicago.edu  

May 15 - All grades from prior quarters due at the Office of the Registrar 

June 5 - Annual Convocation 

Summer Quarter 2027 (for August Graduation) 

June 19 - Complete & submit Application for a Degree electronically on my.uchicago.edu
