
Will Notini (MAPSS class of 2014) is a Senior Design Research Lead at IDEO, where he draws on his training in social science research to execute design and innovation work for clients across a range of industries. Notini offers a course in MAPSS titled “Exploratory Research Design” (MAPS 30220).
In his role at IDEO, Notini manages multi-disciplinary teams through iterative design projects including ideation, validation, prototyping, and roadmapping phases. His focus lies in using mixed-methods exploratory and evaluative research to identify and de-risk growth opportunities. He is particularly interested in solving problems related to service design, venture design, financial services, healthcare, and emerging technology.
Prior to IDEO, Notini was Director of Consumer Insights at Technomic, where his team conducted mixed-methods research for clients in the foodservice industry. In addition to his MAPSS degree (where his focus was anthropology), Notini holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in the Social Sciences from NYU. He is the current President of the MAPSS Alumni Association.
